In the morning, after pickup in Nairobi, we will drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains and is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos. We will enjoy lunch at the lodge before going on an afternoon game run to spot various animals.

Our search for great predators, and perhaps even their cubs, continues today during our extensive game runs. On the plains, we will see enormous herds of grazing animals, plus elusive cheetah and leopards hiding amidst acacia bushes. We will also have the optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people, where we can witness their singing and dancing.

Early in the morning, we will enjoy some tea or hot chocolate before departing on a morning game drive, during which we will see rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. This makes the perfect backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. After a full English breakfast back at camp, we will return to Nairobi.
