5 Days Tanzania Culture Tour Experience

Day 1: Arrive In Tanzania.
Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). We will arrange a private transfer from the Airport to Arusha at Charity Hotel, where the rest of the day is at leisure. We stay at Charity Hotel, which is beautifully located on the slope of Mt. Meru and is a perfect place to prepare for your adventure. We will gather in the hotel for a pre-walking briefing and an equipment check. We will also confirm you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance. Dinner and overnight at Charity Hotel: Half board.

Day 2: Walking Safari In Arusha National Park.
We depart for Arusha National Park to start our two-day tour of the park. Today will include a game drive and on foot safari on the lower slopes of Mt. Meru. We are almost guaranteed close encounters with the resident herd of Cape buffalo and many of the giraffe that inhabits the park. Dinner and overnight at Green Mountain Hotel: Half board.

Day 3: Olmoti and Empakai Crater.
After breakfast depart to Olmoti Crater for a half-day walk. Often we meet Maasai on the way to the waterfalls at the crater. In the afternoon we proceed to our base camp at Empakaai Crater (Special Campsite). Experiencing the serenity and quiet beauty of this wild spot. Surrounding the lake you will reach springs, where you frequently see lots of wildlife. In the lake, there are many flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at the special Campsite: full board.

Day 4: Empakaai to Lake Natron.
Today we start walking from Empakaai to Lake Natron. We descend the outer hills of the Great Rift Valley; we walk through the open plains of the Embulbul depression, passing through Nairobi village. We have also a great opportunity to meet the local Maasai. Ol Doinyo Lengai and Mount Meru are seen along the way. Donkeys carry our luggage. Dinner and overnight at Acacia Campsite: Full board.

Day 5: Lake Natron to Lake Manyara.
Today you’ll experience the culture and traditions of the local Maasai at Lake Natron. Your local guide will show you the Maasai Boma and explain the way Maasai lives; after a short visit to the Maasai boma, we will drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Charity Hotel: Full board.
